Single Vehicle Accident, SR9 & Davis Lane… 3-29-2013

Accident with Injury, 600N & 200W… 11-13-2012

signEarly on November 13, Station 30 was dispatched along with Frankton Ambulance to a two-car accident at CR 600N and CR 200W. FVFD’s Car 4 was first on-scene, followed closely by Rescue 35. Personnel assisted with packaging one patient for transport to the emergency room by Frankton Ambulance 1, and remained on scene to clear the roadway of debris and help with traffic control. All Station 30 units were clear of the scene and returned to service shortly after 8 a.m.

Structure Fire, 3683 W 250 N… 8-18-2012

Station 30 was dispatched at 11:02 pm for a working structure fire with flames showing. Engine 32 responded at 11:05 and was the first FVFD unit on scene at 11:14, arriving immediately after Anderson’s Engine 4. The fire could be seen from four miles away as units were inbound, and was found to be a fully involved barn fire, close to a residence. Units worked quickly to keep the fire away from the house and to get the barn fire under control. Multiple mutual aid departments responded with personnel and tankers, and all units returned to service at 2:36 am on 8-19.

Structure Fire, 5811 W 200 N… 6-22-2012

At 11:12 p.m., Station 30 was dispatched to a structure fire at 5811 W 200 North, dispatched as a possible structure fire in a garage. The first unit marked en route at 11:13 and Engine 32 was out the door at 11:14. Asst. Chief Josh Hendrick immediately called for mutual aid from Anderson and Lapel, and as the first responders got close, they started reporting seeing flames from three to four miles away. Hendrick was on scene at 11:19 and found a fully involved structure fire in the detached garage, and called for additional support from Pendleton and Richland based on the intensity of the fire, fire spreading through the grass and the generally dry conditions.
