Help us Fill-The-Boots for MDA!

This weekend is the annual Fill-The-Boot drive to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association… firefighters all over the area will be out in the heat, standing in intersections and holding out boots to benefit this great cause. Today, we had crews in Frankton (intersection of Clyde & 11th St.) and Lafayette Township (intersection of 300N and 100W) and between the two crews, we collected over $1100! Tomorrow (Sunday, Sept. 1), we’ll be back out to collect more in the morning, so please come out and help us support a great organization!

After a successful morning of Fill-The-Boot collections, the FVFD Station Two crew got a chance to visit with a local family whose kids attend summer camp at Bradford Woods thanks to your donations.

The drive got a lot more personal for Station One when a local family stopped by and showed us pictures and told us all about being able to go to summer camp thanks to the Fill-The-Boot drives. Between the two stations, we collected over $1100 on Saturday morning!
