New FVFD Officers Announced

gear iconFrankton Volunteer Fire Department Chief Rob Amick has announced a new lineup of officers for the department, effective immediately. Amick was recently re-elected to serve the 2013-2014 term as Chief, and is restructuring and redefining the officers’ responsibilities in order to continue to provide quick and reliable service to our area.

Josh Hendrick will continue as Assistant Chief, overseeing the administration of the department and assisting Chief Amick with operation. Scott Matson continues as Captain, responsible for all PPE (personal protective equipment). Brandon Leisure joins the team as Captain, responsible for training, starting with the new recruit class which begins training this month.

Jeff DeLong has been promoted to Lieutenant, Station 1, and Michael Pelsor continues as Lieutenant, Station 2. The Lieutenants are responsible for station readiness and equipment readiness for their stations.

Additionally, Andrew Csire was named Safety Officer for the department and will be the scene safety officer during incidents, as well as being responsible for the health and safety program, OSHA compliance, and hazmat equipment.
