Investigation, 3102 W. Cross St. … 3-31-2013

At 11:48 a.m. on Easter Sunday morning, Station 30 was paged out to investigate the smell of smoke, possibly electrical in origin, at 3102 W. Cross St. Engines 31 and 32 responded, and upon arrival, crews traced the problem to a bad belt in the air handler. Further investigation ensured that the blower was the only source of the smoke, and all Station 30 personnel returned to service at 12:15 p.m. Additional units responding were Frankton Ambulance 1 and Anderson’s Engine 4.
